Well this weekend turned out to be quite fun. Last weekend (Saturday the 13th) Wade and I had planned to go to Salt Lake City to see the lights on Temple Square. But due to bad weather (its was not only snowing but SUPER freezing) we chose not to go and stayed here in Idaho Falls. So this weekend I went down to Tremonton (where he grew up) with him (since he already was going down for Christmas) to see the lights.
Here is our driver, Mr. Wade Dean Jeppesen. Please take a moment to appreciate the Christmas beard he is growing. I quite like it.
And here I am, Ms. Allyson Kay Bullock the passenger.
And here I am, Ms. Allyson Kay Bullock the passenger. But that nice weather didn't last long. While we were sleeping Sunday night, the storm came. And boy did it come. Heavy wet packing snow (perfect for snowmen and snowball fights) was covering the ground. The storm seemed to be every where.
Here is some of our drive. Wade's Dad was kind enough to let us take his truck back up to Idaho Falls, and boy were we lucky to have it. It was especially bad at Malad Pass.
If it wasn't for the sagebrush it would be hard to tell the sky from the ground. Everything was pure white.
Here is Wade driving the truck. He was so excited to take it up. After driving it though, he now wants to look into seeing how much trucks are. It was funny, to justify his reasons of wanting a truck he kept naming all the service he could give if he owned a truck. It was pretty funny.
Here are some funny shots I thought I would share. We have gotten so much snow today, but Juneau seemed to just love it. He wanted to prove his Huskiness or so it seemed. In the photo above, is Juneau buried in snow in the corner of the backyard. It was so hard to find him. And below, he is trying to find a path to come back inside. He is so cute.
Well I think all together we got 10 inches of snow today. Oh what fun!
