Cesar's Birthday Present

So I am currently dating one of the most amazing men alive- no joke! His name is Cesar Salgado. We have been dating for almost two weeks, but I have known of him since the end of October last year when he was about to come home from his mission. He is kind of a big deal around here. I had never seen so much commotion over one persons homecoming. Long story short, I didn't give him much of my time until recently. A couple of my friends have had crushes on him in the past, so I didn't really bother getting to know him- you know the whole friend code of conduct thing.... ha ha
But that has all changed. Cesar came over one night (in the middle of the night) because I was having a hard time with some things in my life. He came over with out asking, because he wanted to comfort me. We ended up talking the whole entire night. After he left I really didn't expect much to change between us. I thought I wouldn't hear from him again till church that Sunday. But I was so wrong. He sent me a text later that day to see how I was doing. And the rest is history. We have seen each other everyday since.
I have never felt so special in my entire life. It is crazy, but I honestly have never been so happy. I will keep you all updated with all the fun things we've been up to. These past two weeks have been amazing! Sadly he left town this morning for Army Training. Cesar is in the Army Reserves and has served over in Iraq. He is going to be gone for the next three weeks for training. I am going to miss him tons!! But we did get to have a little celebration last night before he left. His birthday, which he will have while he is in training, is July 21st. So here are some pictures of his birthday presents. And later I will post some pictures of him opening them and blowing out the candles.

This is the outside of his gift bag. I bought a pack of parachute army men at Target. It was so fun to use them as an Army Man themed birthday present.
Below (Army Guy): "No trip is complete without Ally's favorite treat!"

Each gift had an Army Man tied to it with a speech bubble that I made out of address labels. This present is a pack of my favorite road trip treats- the gummy frogs with white bums! :)
Below (Army Guy): "A game for the road. It's my favorite :)"

This Army Man is guarding one of Cesar's (and my) favorite games, Connect Four. It is a fun key-chain size, so he can play it on the bus on the way out to training today.
Below (Ariel): "I've got a..." [Crush] (Army Man): "on you!!!"
This was one of my favorites in the bag. I am the Little Mermaid and Cesar is the Army Man :D
Below: WARNING! to hot too handle (open with care)

The Soldiers are guarding the hot contents inside ha ha Inside is a cute picture of Cesar and I that I put in a really nice frame.
Below (Army Man): "To help show off your big sexy muscles! ;)"

Inside this gift was a really nice white Hurley shirt from the Buckle. I mainly picked it because it was soft but it has a sweet design on it too.

Here is all the gifts as a whole!

Here is the gift all put together and ready to go. I am not going to lie to you, I loved the way it turned out. Tons of fun and colorful!!!
This is the last thing Cesar will get to open. I originally wanted to have him open all these things on his birthday but Cesar was afraid that things would get ruined or lost while he was in training. So to compromise, I let him open all his gifts but he couldn't open the card.
I got one of the recording/singing Hallmark Cards. I recorded myself singing happy birthday to him, but my own version, which was: "Happy Birthday to you, I really miss you, I can't wait till you're home, So I can kiss you!". And then the cards song was, I'm Gonna Be by the Proclaimers.
